About the event
Participants are invited to either sit or lie as they are bathed in the soothing sounds of gongs, chimes and other percussive instruments. Many people find that being immersed in these soundscapes helps to quieten the chatter of the mind so they can achieve deep states of rest and rejuvenation. Some find that the brain enters a creative state where they gain new perspectives or find solutions; others experience a meditative peacefulness.
At the start of the session you will be offered a cacao drink (a bit like a sugar-free and dairy-free dark hot chocolate), to help you transition out of your busy daily life and into a space for rest and reflection. For those who avoid caffeine in the evenings, a rosehip tea will also be available (and of course you are very welcome to enjoy the event for the soundbath alone!)
